We have a wide range of automated sliding gates for you to choose from to match your specific preferences. These gates are also elementary to use and install. Swing Gates
Automated swing gates usually come as a pair, and they swing during operation to open and close. They are better suited to larger driveways, as the gates can swing open and crush into something. However, to prevent this from happening, they come with many different features, including access control, photocells and motion detectors.
Choosing the Right Motor
There are two different types of electric motors; 24v and 230v. The one you choose will depend on the number of times your gates operate during the day.
For example, if your gate operates less than 15 times per day, you will be better suited to the 230v; however, if your gate operates over 15 times per day, you will be better with the 24v electric motor.
Electric Gate Safety
Electric gates can be very dangerous if they are not used properly, and there are so many factors you need to consider before choosing and installing them. For example, if you choose between sliding gates and swinging gates, you need to consider the size of your driveway, as swinging gates can crush objects and cars or cause harm to people if they open on a smaller driveway.
When you have your electric gates installed, you must ensure the installer carries out all the relevant risk assessments and tests to ensure your electric gates open and close safely and correctly. If necessary, there are many different detectors that you can choose from that will stop the gates from opening or closing if they sense anything in their way.
